I’m Kent Norton, a Cincinnati artist working to create a space where local art can be discovered, created, and supported. Humble Origins Art Studio is the dream I’ve been building toward: a welcoming downtown studio and gallery where artists, collectors, and community can connect around original art.

Humble Origins Art Studio is envisioned as a small, welcoming downtown Cincinnati-based art studio and gallery.
The front of the space would serve as a gallery for original artwork by Kent Norton and select emerging local artists. Visitors could browse and purchase finished pieces, learn the stories behind the work, and connect with art in a personal way.
The back of the space would function as a working studio where artists could actively create new paintings. This would allow visitors to see that art is not just a finished product on a wall — it is a process filled with time, thought, experimentation, and emotion.
